Historical anthropologist of labour, Eastern Europe, Romania

I hold a PhD in sociology and social anthropology from Central European University, Budapest.

After completing my PhD, I held several fellowships at Max Planck Institute for the History of Science (Berlin), re:work – Centre for Work and the Human Life Cycle in World History – Humboldt University (Berlin), New Europe College (Bucharest), Goldsmiths (London) and at the Institute for Advanced Studies (Nantes).

I am currently a research fellow at the Institute for Cultural Inquiry (Berlin).

I am available for lecturing on Eastern and Central European labour relations, socialism and the post-1990 transformations in the former Soviet bloc, knowledge production in industrial settings, and histories of planning.
